This position assists the Plant Human Resources Manager and/or Plant Assistant HR Manager in the administration of various HR functions.

1. Assists coordination of the plant employee benefit program.
2. Assists in sick leave and leave of absence program, family and medical leave administration, benefit continuation and premium payment tracking.
3. Answers routine questions and inquires that require knowledge of established departmental procedures and familiarity with operations and programs within human resources.
4. Provides customer service and problem solving for employees by assisting in resolution of questions or complaints.
5. Assists in pre-employment screening, applicant assessments and employment verifications.
6. Process human resource documentation, record statistics and handle confidential material for new hires, including I-9 compliance.
7. May review employment applications/resumes and interview applicants.
8. Performs routine entry, queries, maintenance and updates to SAP HRIS regarding employees.
9. Enter daily attendance information.
10. Administer Affirmative Action Plan maintenance and tracking.
11. Assist in preparation of orientation and/or training documentation.
12. Conduct follow up exit interviews.
13. Assist in conducting internal investigations by gathering data.
14. Assists in conducting grievance investigations
15. Complete special assignments and projects as required. May research files for difficult-to-find data.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2
years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good telephone etiquette.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of an HRIS system.
Preferably bi-lingual in Spanish or another language.
Must be willing to travel 5% of the time.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
